Business Development Lead (Europe) – brand new appointment managing all business development and client work across the European offices of a major international law firm.
This entrepreneurial international law firm is really ramping up its business development capability and in this new role you will be responsible for leading on all business development and key client development across the firm’s European offices. The role offers the opportunity to be client facing and really make a difference.
In particular, you will be responsible for:
* Working closely with the European group heads to develop and implement the firm’s international business development strategy;
* Developing the European key client programme, ensuring collaboration and cross-selling across the European offices;
* Driving the firm’s intermediary relationships across Europe;
* Establishing and developing relationships with key European industry bodies and organisations which will facilitate new business opportunities;
* Driving new business opportunities and working with partners to convert opportunities into instructions;
* Developing campaigns across the European region to drive lead generation;
* Managing a small team.
This role will suit an experienced Senior Business Development Manager who is looking for their next step. Experience gained in an international law firm with a particular focus on Europe is absolutely essential for this role. You will thrive in this environment if you are proactive and entrepreneurial mixing this with a strategic approach.
