Job Summary
The post holder will be supported to autonomously run planned clinics for secondary care patients to perform skilled clinical interventions, such as venepuncture, ECGS, and clinical observations, across multiple community hospital sites. The role promotes autonomy and the successful candidate will manage their own patient case load while working closely with the community ambulatory care team to ensure safe delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities
• Run planned clinics for secondary care patients across multiple community hospital sites.
• Perform skilled clinical interventions including venepuncture, ECGS, and clinical observations.
• Manage own patient case load and ensure safe, high quality patient care.
• Work within community ambulatory and outpatients services and collaborate across the cluster when required.
• Operate on a full-time basis Monday‑Friday 08:00–16:00 for a 1.5 WTE position.
Requirements
Essential: Current venepuncture competency; ability to work autonomously; strong organisational and communication skills.

• Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 per year (pro rata)
