As a Mental Health Recovery Worker you will be required to promote the independence of the client we support by proactively creating new ways to improve the quality of the clients life by following person centred support plans (PCSPs) and the MDT process Skills Good communication skills Operates within the boundaries of confidentiality Team player Competence to work on own and in a team Capacity to promote an independent lifestyle Good time keeping skills Adaptable to changing environments Positive and proactive attitude Experience Working with adults who have a mental illness Working as a keyworker Advantageous if has experience of record keeping relating to the care setting Knowledge Advantageous but not essential basic understanding of: Care Act Health and Safety PSCPs Safeguarding Challenging Behaviour Mental Capacity Act Mental Health Act Qualifications/Education/Training NVQ 2/Diploma or willingness to work towards Any other relevant training Other requirements Flexible to meet the needs of the service Attend monthly staff meetings Demonstrate an appropriate philosophy of care which is consistent with the values of the service Ability to work under pressure Can-do attitude
