Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Shenstone Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am–1:00pm Salary: Circa £42,000 Overtime Bonus Scheme About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering company based in Shenstone. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for installing, refurbishing and maintaining specialist equipment used by our customers across the UK and mainland Europe. This role would suit someone with solid mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. Key Responsibilities Engineering: Build, refurbish, and maintain standard and semi-standard equipment as part of a skilled team Install new machines into both manual and automated systems Carry out routine maintenance and fault finding on automatic nut and bolt feeders, resistance welding machines, and controls Work from mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings to complete jobs to a high standard Maintain the workshop area, tools, and equipment Perform installations and maintenance at customer sites in the UK and occasionally in mainland Europe Procure engineering consumables as required Sales Support: Liaise directly with customers and support the sales team with technical input for quotations Process Improvement: Collaborate with the management team to improve internal processes and drive quality improvement across products and services Candidate Requirements Experience in maintenance engineering on industrial equipment Solid knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Skilled in general engineering tasks such as drilling, tapping, and materials handling Forklift truck experience desirable (training can be provided) Full UK driving licence essential Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally to mainland Europe How to Apply If you’re a proactive Maintenance Engineer / Technician with the skills and drive to succeed in a varied and rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you.
