Job Overview:
This position provides respiratory care across various patient care settings. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, managing mechanical ventilation, and assessing the appropriateness and effectiveness of treatments. Additionally, practitioners assist in the clinical education of Respiratory Therapy students and participate in diagnostic activities such as ABG procurement and analysis, bedside pulmonary function testing, and hemodynamic and other noninvasive procedures.
Job Requirements:
* Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
* Current Ohio licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
* NBRC Registry or RRT certification
* Knowledge of advanced cardiopulmonary physiology, related sciences, and pharmacology
* 1-2 years of related experience
