Conveyancing Assistant Role
A career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy residential property team. This is a full-time, office-based role ideal for someone with at least 12 months of hands-on conveyancing experience, particularly in residential sales and purchases.
The role is highly client-focused, requiring a professional, friendly and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be supporting Fee Earners and Solicitors with a high-volume caseload and must be confident in handling administrative tasks from file opening through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Opening new client files and accurately inputting details into the case management system
* Preparing initial correspondence, legal documentation and issuing contracts on sale files
* Progressing transactions in line with internal procedures
* Ordering property searches and preparing reports to clients
* Supporting with exchange of contracts, completions and post-completion work
* Handling telephone and email enquiries from clients, estate agents and solicitors
* Managing incoming and outgoing post
* Assisting with general office administration including filing, billing and archiving
Essential Skills & Attributes:
* Minimum 12 months' experience in a conveyancing assistant role, particularly in sales and purchase
* Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
* Competent IT user with accurate keyboard skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a deadline-driven environment
* Friendly, professional and client-service oriented
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Flexible, proactive and willing to take initiative
