Salary: £25,582
Working Pattern: Full Time (37 hrs per week), Part Time, Job Share, Flexible Working
Location: Teeside Civil & Family Court, Middlesbrough, TS1 2AE (Regular travel to Darlington, Parkgate, Victoria Square)

Proud to serve. Proud to keep justice going. Our Admin Officers play a critical role, providing excellent administrative support and customer service to court users, judiciary and management.
HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family Courts and Tribunals in England and Wales. We support court users and colleagues within HMCTS, working to deliver justice to people’s lives.
Responsibilities
* Prepare papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
* Create and update records on our in-house computer system and perform data input.
* Result accurate interpretations required on a court file.
* Check and verify documents, records, accounts, claims and returns for approval, results, statistics, plans etc. against criteria, regulations or procedures.
* Collect and assemble information for returns, results, accounts, statements, warrants, statistical analysis, reports, etc.
* Communicate with the Public, the Judiciary, other Court and Tribunal Users and representatives of other agencies and organisations.
Skills and Experience
* Friendly, approachable manner with excellent attention to detail.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Desire to deliver proactive and effective support to customers by phone and email.
* Skilled in organising time, prioritising efficiently and multi‑tasking.
* Experience with various software packages.
* Enjoy working in a busy environment and helping court users navigate the justice system.
