What you'll do:
* Agile Excellence: Act as Agile Coach to our squads and leadership, embedding Agile principles across new and established teams.
* Efficiency: Drive agile adoption and continuous improvement at both team and organisational level.
* Operational: Stand up new teams and delivery areas, designing team structures, ceremonies, and onboarding.
* Strategic Delivery: Work with other teams to shape cross-directorate standards, metrics, and frameworks.
* Collaboration: Partner with leadership to assess and improve the overall agility and performance of the directorate.
What you'll bring:
* Scrum Master Expertise: Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master or Agile Coach across multiple squads, in complex cross-functional environments.
* Agile Coaching & Framework Knowledge: Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills across multiple team levels (Delivery Teams, Scrum Masters, Engineers, Leadership); deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and other Agile delivery frameworks.
* JIRA Governance: Experience governing and optimising JIRA across multiple teams or departments and driving forwards our strategic ambition of having JIRA as the single source of truth.
* Collaboration & Communication: Confident working across organisational boundaries, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Delivery: Strong understanding of Agile metrics, Delivery KPIs, and techniques for measuring and improving team performance, with the ability to present these metrics in a consistent, scalable format that is easily understood by both squad teams and senior leadership.
* Team Foundation and Scaling: Experience setting up and scaling new Agile teams and/or operating models.

Senior Scrum Masters within Data Engineering work within Sub Domains and are responsible for the overall Agility of the Squad/s they support as well as supporting the delivery of our high-profile work.
We have an exciting opportunity within our Cross Product Domain and supporting our NBA squad and our Marketing squad, working within a value stream as well as out-with. Working in high profile areas and supporting updates as part of wider E2E deliverables.
Our Cross Product Domain is part of the EEC Directorate within Sky Data. It’s where we build and maintain data products and data assets within our Sales Platform – specifically Next Best Actions which is our personalised product and offer recommendations. We work within the Value Streams, as part of cross-functional teams driving exciting roadmaps; we also support broader work where we help to transform how things get done. That means we’re at the heart of the action, supporting and working on the products that keep our customers connected and protected, and which directly drive their Sky experience. In addition, you will support the Marketing Squad which has a significant roadmap but drives huge benefit across our stakeholders in Marketing, Sales & retention.
