Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to support an intelligent young man with an acquired brain injury, within his own home and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Befriend and support in accessing social activities to reduce isolation.
* Organise days out (e.g., Blackburn Rovers matches, gym, coffee shops).
* Provide respectful prompts and encouragement with nutrition and exercise.
* Assist with light domestic support and mobility assistance within the community.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proactive, caring, motivated individual with passion for supporting others.
* Experience in nutrition and exercise beneficial; interest in sports and good conversation valued.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid full clean driving licence and ideally access to a car; mileage reimbursed.
* Previous experience desirable; positive attitude and good work ethic essential.
Working Hours & Compensation
Part‑time position: 8 hours on a Saturday each week at £15.00 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
