Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues.
What you'll be doing:
As a Factory Operative, you will be responsible for the preparation of the production lines. Additionally, there is the skilled side of the role which is the batching and weighing of ingredients into large bins, whilst filling out all checks. As part of your role, you will be ensuring the team are working to their maximum potential as well as ensuring that the machinery is working consistently and correctly. You will be responsible for monitoring production to help attain KPIs for productivity and efficiency. Tasks may involve
* Batch weighing ingredients
* Packing products to standard expected
* Perform regular quality checks to finished products
* Preparing products for despatch
What we're looking for:
Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:
* Experience working within a food manufacturer preferred
* Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
* Problem solving skills
* Good communicator and ability to work in a team
* Allergen awareness
* L2 Food Safety is preferred but not essential
