We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regional Security Manager.
You’ll support the Senior Regional Protective Security Manager as well as day-to-day business and new initiatives across our sites in the UK. as well as the European Region.

In this role you’ll:
* Respond to incidents involving criminal/terrorist activity and demonstrations/civil unrest as directed and, in liaison with the rest of the Protective Security team managing any such incidents at a local level, contain and minimise impact on the safety of our staff, customers and the security of the bank’s assets
* Provide support and guidance to the Branch Network, Commercial Centres and other Head Offices on all security and safety related issues
* Review our branches, office buildings, and data centres to ensure uniform maintenance, implementation of, and compliance with. current bank standards and procedures by providing specialist security advice and guidance, including at risk situations, such as refurbishments
* Liaise with, and provide advice and guidance, as and when required to other departments of the bank, such as Health and Safety, Audit, Distribution Risk, Regional Directors or their support management teams. Liaise with nominated external building or security contractors
* Proactively engage with colleagues to provide security support and guidance and ensure consistency with regional standards
* Arrange and deliver security workshops, Personal Safety & Security training, and other relevant awareness training packages throughout the UK
* Ensure all Protective Security related policies and procedures are reviewed and maintained in line with stakeholder feedback, control monitoring, and internal/external developments
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Previous experience as a Network/Branch Manager would be an advantage
* The ability to make live risk assessments and evaluate solutions on own initiative within tight timescales
* Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills including both verbal and written with the ability to persuade Senior Management of the course of action to be taken to counter perceived risks
* Excellent presentation skills with previous experience delivering training workshops to a diverse audience
* Customer focussed with the ability to interface with all levels of management
* Conveniently located to cover branches and Head Office buildings within the geographic patch of Southern England
* Willingness to travel within the UK at short notice for incident response
* Clean full driving licence
