The estate now welcomes around 600,000 visitors a year and has a vibrant year-round visitor programme. You’ll work alongside the Senior Programming and Partnerships Officer, and Senior Marketing Communications Officer to share Attingham and its stories, history, nature and wildlife with our supporters and visitors. As part of the Visitor Experience team, you’ll work with staff and volunteer teams across the estate, and work with and supervise the 100-strong team of Visitor Experience volunteers who support the visitor programme.Reporting to the Experience and Visitor Programming Manager you'll be one of the lead Duty Manager’s at Attingham, on-call to support visitor facing, and behind the scenes teams to ensure the smooth running of visitor operations. You’ll play a key role in the effective delivery of an engaging programme that delivers a year-round visitor offer. You will also be responsible for specific elements of the year-round seasonal visitor programme of activities at Attingham, for example, this could be the planning, creating and delivering of family trails or the leading and development of active programming such as walking or sports activities. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and where relevant ensure all our communications with our visitors, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property are clear and consistent. As a champion of exceptional visitor experiences, you’ll join a high performing team and will be involved on a daily basis with the duty management rota helping run the visitor operation.
