We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Salford during the upcoming exam seasons. This is ideal for candidates seeking flexible, part‑time, or ad‑hoc work within an education setting.
Role Overview
As an Exam Invigilator, you will help ensure that examinations run smoothly, safely, and in line with all school and awarding body regulations. You will play a key role in creating a calm environment, supporting students, and maintaining the integrity of the exam process.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare exam rooms and distribute exam materials
* Supervise students throughout examinations
* Ensure exam rules and procedures are followed at all times
* Support students entering and exiting the room in an orderly manner
* Collect, organise, and secure exam papers after each session
* Report any concerns, irregularities, or incidents to senior staff
Requirements
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow policies and procedures accurately
* Confident communicating with students and staff
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
