What you’ll do in this Electronics Technician – PCB & Assembly job
As an Electronics Technician focused on PCB assembly, you’ll be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs) and fitting to their electronic devices. You’ll follow detailed instructions and collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure products meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Assembling electronic components using both surface-mount and through-hole techniques
Accurate soldering and inspection of components based on schematics and drawings
Performing visual inspections and functional tests to ensure specification compliance
Troubleshooting and repairing faulty PCBs, including component replacements and rework
Installing PCBs into finished electronic or IoT products
Documenting work and test results accurately
Processing returned products for fault finding or recycling
Supporting inventory accuracy through careful component handling and workstation organisation
Contributing to continuous improvement by providing feedback to engineers on product design and build processes
Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
