Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Planning Consultant for a full-time, on-site position based in our Canterbury office. The responsibilities include delivering expert planning advice, conducting site appraisals, managing planning applications, preparing planning documents, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and coordinating with internal teams. The role will also require overseeing project timelines, ensuring compliance with planning regulations, and contributing to successful project outcomes across diverse sectors.
Qualifications
* Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Planning to evaluate and manage projects effectively.
* Excellent Communication and Consulting abilities to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members professionally and effectively.
* Experience in planning law, local planning processes, and regulations is beneficial.
* Relevant degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field; membership or eligibility for membership with a professional planning body (e.g., RTPI) is preferred.
