Role Overview:
We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with strong full stack development experience, ideally with a background in building applications within SaaS. As CTO, you will lead our technical strategy, manage our in-house development team, and work closely with external partners to finalise the development of our MVP. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI-powered platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead development and technical strategy.
* Manage and mentor a team of junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design.
* Oversee the integration of APIs and develop custom solutions
* Collaborate with external partners (e.g., AWS, Shopify, UK Academic institutions) and key stakeholders to align on technical requirements and deliverables.
* Implement and manage project management tools, including Jira, Slack, and GitHub, to track progress and ensure seamless collaboration.
* Develop and maintain a scalable backend infrastructure that is CSP agnostic
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer who can utilise the latest agentic systems, not just ClaudeClode / Codex or equivalent but also you must have the md skills and carabiners to go around them.
* Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end development (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, AWS).
* Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in marketing or eCommerce use cases.
* Experience in managing development teams and working in fast-paced, agile environments.
* Solid understanding of cloud architecture, particularly AWS services.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
