Based on a huge MoD site where Skanska provide hard and soft FM services - we currently seek a talented office administrator with strong customer facing skills. The role is for an Admin Support Assistant, and is required to supplement current staff in order to provide cover in the event of absences, this key role will be crossed trained so they could be employed within all Admin areas requiring cover.
The Admin Support Assistant would report to and work as directed by the Admin Services Manager; primarily to support the Northwood HQ Helpdesk while covering other areas in emergencies and unavoidable absences only.
What you'll do:
* Provide cover for the Northwood HQ Helpdesk. Answering calls & emails, administration tasks such as filing, and assisting with internal 100% checks
* Provide cover for Medical Centre reception, responsible for the booking of appointments, arranging patient recalls, the maintenance of confidential medical records while adhering to Caldicot principles.
* Provide assistance on 410 Reception. Booking conference rooms, setting up equipment & issue/receipt of locker keys
* To ensure clear communication is received between Skanska, our client and our customer
* Undertake any other reasonable tasks that may arise from time to time as required by your Line Manager
What you'll bring to the role:
* Good customer liaison background
* Have work pride, ethos, positive attitude and the ability to preserve confidentiality.
* Must be able to obtain SC level Security Clearance.
* Office Administration background
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
