Forklift operative

Streamline are currently recruiting for a forklift operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift License (Expired / in-house may be considered if in the last 12 months)

£13.50 PAYE Per hour PAYE

Monday to Friday 09:0 - 17:00 However this will be changing to 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 rotating after a period of time.

This would be working on a groupage contract within DP World Port, as such due to the location you must either drive or live local
Your main duties would include

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to load and unload trailers
* Putting goods away into the correct storage locations
* Handling a variety of goods including food and furniture items
* Supporting general warehouse operations including scanning, labelling, and housekeeping tasks
* Working as part of a team to meet operational targets in a busy environment
* Manual handling and heavy lifting

Requirements:

* Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-house or recently may be considered)
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
* Willingness to work both on and off the forklift as required
* Must live locally or have access to your own transport due to site location
