Description The People Team at Cormac is growing! We’re expanding our People Team and looking for a detail-driven, proactive People Coordinator to play a central role in supporting our colleagues, delivering our people strategy, and shaping a fantastic place to work. You’ll work closely with our Senior Advisors and the wider People Team to provide essential support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on accurate and high-quality note-taking in formal HR meetings and processes. About the Role As a People Coordinator, you’ll support Senior Advisors with both day-to-day admin and formal HR casework. A large part of the role involves capturing precise and comprehensive meeting notes -whether during disciplinary hearings, grievance meetings, or other formal processes -ensuring these records are clear, confidential, and compliant. Beyond note-taking, you’ll help keep our systems, case logs, and digital files organised and up to date, maintain resources like intranet content, templates, dashboards, and reports, and provide timely support on HR casework. You’ll also contribute to projects including restructures, TUPE, wellbeing initiatives, and job evaluations. Your role will include: Providing consistent HR advice and support across processes like attendance reviews and exit interviews. Coordinating case tracking, preparing documentation, and supporting tribunal responses. Ensuring accurate and timely minutes are taken and stored to support fair and transparent decision-making. Supporting data management, reporting, and insights. Occasionally assisting across recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, and wellbeing initiatives. What you bring This role will suit someone who is: A confident and meticulous note-taker—you understand the importance of capturing every detail accurately. Super organised and detail-focused. A clear communicator who enjoys helping others. Data-savvy and comfortable managing systems and records. Confident providing low-level HR advice, with the judgment to know when to escalate to Senior Advisors. You’ll also have: Previous experience in a HR/People function. A full UK Driving Licence (travel around Cornwall required). CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to produce professional notes and documentation. A passion for great service and continuous improvement.
