Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties throughout the nursery, including classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
* Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
* Assist in setting up rooms for activities as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas used by children.

* Qualifications
* Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred.
* Strong communication skills in English are essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer service experience is an advantage.
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the nursery.

Cedars Nursery, Cherry Tree House, Newcastle, NE4 8SX
We are looking for a lunch time assistant at our nursery. This is the perfect role for someone who lives locally and can work flexibly between 10.00am and 3pm each day.
The role will be to cover nursery staff lunches between 12 noon and 2pm looking after children in various age group rooms. Working closely with our cook you will assist in serving and clearing away after lunch and cleaning and preparing rooms after lunch in readiness for children's afternoon activities.
To qualify you must have a current DBS, a Food Hygiene and Health & Safety qualification or be willing to complete these.
You must also be a good communicator and a childcare qualification would also be desirable.
This role is year round however we may consider term time.

Pay starts at £12.50 per hour, 16 hours, 5 days a week.
