Job description
I have a fantastic role working for a leading business in Sheffield. Due to expansion they're looking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk who has experience with stock based purchase invoices ideally.
The right candidate will be a motivated individual who has experience in purchase ledger and the manufacturing industry. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £26,000.
The role:
1. Managing the Purchase Ledger email inbox
2. Processing and coding invoices and matching invoices to purchase orders
3. Sending invoices out for approval via DocuSign
4. Managing DocuSign to process invoices returned approved.
5. Payments by BACS and bank transfer
6. Dealing with invoice queries and working with buyers and suppliers to resolve
7. Checking monthly supplier statements
Experience:
8. Prior experience in a purchase ledger role is essential
9. Ability to process high volumes of purchase invoices
10. Experience of Bacs and other payment types would be an advantage
11. Experience of payroll would be an advantage
12. Teamwork
13. Ability to build good working relationships
