About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. Flexibility is key, as you will need to work one weekend day each week. Ideally, you should have:
* 2-3 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience
* A clean driving record and license
Expect to work between 40-50 hours a week, with potential for extended hours and weekend shifts, especially during holidays. We also offer tramping roles with dedicated trucks for travel across the UK!

HGV Driver Requirements
* Valid commercial Driving License (Categories C / C+E)
* Professional Driving Qualification (Full Driver CPC)
* Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
* Pass a background check
* Pass a standard drug and alcohol test*
* Ability to speak and read English satisfactorily
* No more than 6 penalty points on your Driver’s License (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements accepted)
* *Approved drivers must have BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and negative drug and alcohol test results.
Your Responsibilities as an HGV Driver
* Prioritize health and safety at all times
* Be flexible to work evenings and weekends
* Maintain electronic logs for routes and deliveries
* Conduct daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and report any issues
* Utilize route navigation apps and local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries
* Engage with stakeholders professionally
* Drive safely in various weather conditions
