Multi-Skilled PPM Engineer - Mon-Fri Days - £48,000-£50,000 + Package

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
* Carry out and optimise Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
* Investigate root causes of failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records using CMMS and support stock control.
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
* Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
* Work closely with production teams to deliver engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, including PUWER and LOLER.
About You
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or similar) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Experience with PPM, reliability-centred maintenance, and continuous improvement techniques.
* Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with good IT and CMMS experience.
