Position Title: Residential Gym Operative - 5-star residence
Location: Chelsea Barracks, Chelsea Barracks, 1 Mulberry Sq, London SW1W 8DS
Reports To: Club Manager
Overview:
As a Residential Club Supervisor at a 5-star residence, you will play a key role in ensuring that the gym operates smoothly, offering a premium and personalized experience for residents. You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Experience:
o Welcome residents and guests warmly, addressing their inquiries.
o Provide professional advice on gym equipment usage & how to safely use the rest of the facilities
o Monitor the gym and all other facilities to ensure residents' comfort and safety.
Equipment Management:
o Regularly inspect and maintain gym equipment, ensuring it is functional and clean.
o Report any malfunctions or arrange for repairs promptly to minimize disruption.
o Ensure the gym is well-stocked with supplies (e.g., towels, sanitizing wipes, water).
Facility Cleanliness & Hygiene:
o Perform routine cleaning of the gym to maintain 5-star hygiene standards.
o Ensure proper sanitation protocols are followed for all equipment and spaces.
o Regularly inspect the cleanliness of the clubs & work with the housekeeping tram to ensure 5-star standards are maintained
Health and Safety
· Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for residents.
· Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments of the gym and related facilities.
· Work with the club supervisor to ensure compliance with H&S guidelines & regulations
* Maintain first aid supplies and ensure staff are trained in basic first aid and CPR.
Program Support:
o Maintain updated knowledge of fitness trends to provide relevant suggestions or ideas.
Administrative Duties:
o Ensure timely communication with management about resident needs or operational issues.
Qualifications: (Desireable)
· Certifications: First Aid and CPR certified; personal trainer or group fitness certifications are a plus.
· Experience: Experience within the fitness/ wellness or hospitality industry desireable

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
