We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to take ownership of all aspects of stock control and supplier management. The successful candidate be skilled at effectively managing stock levels, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and meeting the company's high standards of delivery performance. You will have a solid background in operations, supply chain and/or procurement, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to optimise processes to maximise efficiency. Title: Supply Chain Analyst Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum DoE Location: Reading Type: Permanent, full time Responsibilities in this position will include: Managing distribution and shipping processes, ensuring fulfilment targets are met. Ensuring quality requirements are understood, documented and managed effectively. Identifying issues such as stock shortages and supply chain disruptions, escalating when necessary. Overseeing inventory levels. Acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing relationships, negotiations, and performance. Ensuring all agreements are up to date and valid. Placing and managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries and ensuring stock replenishment. Using Excel and ERP/MRP systems to analyse data. Leading improvement initiatives, continuously reviewing and optimising supply chain processes. Ensuring supply chain activities align with company policies and industry regulations. Ensuring all stock, procurement and supply chain processes align with industry standards, including batch control, traceability and documentation. Working closely with sales, warehouse and finance teams. What we are looking for: Proven experience in stock control and supply chain management. Purchasing experience would also be an advantage. An understanding of batch control and Certificates of Conformity. Understanding of international shipping processes, including import regulations and customs clearance. Advanced Excel Skills including pivot tables, lookups and conditional formatting ERP/MRP System Experience. Experience in improving supplier and customer performance. Experience in managing vendor agreements. Experience of stock location organisation and implementing pick-to-barcode systems would be beneficial. Highly detail-oriented and meticulous.
