Company Description
Scout Sport is an invite-only football talent identification platform designed to address structural gaps in how emerging players are discovered below the elite level. The platform relies on verified evaluators — such as coaches, scouts, and academy staff — to personally identify players and log structured, peer-reviewed evaluations over time. Each player profile is created by a qualified evaluator, ensuring no self-registration, algorithms, or self-promotion, and maintaining a high standard of credibility. Scout Sport is currently in beta across Scottish football, with expansion underway into the US, Ireland, Australia, India, Singapore, and other regions. The evaluator side of the platform is completely free, supporting a global network committed to verified talent and verified potential.
Role Description
As a Regional Evaluator at Scout Sport, you will focus on identifying and assessing football talent within your assigned region through live matches, training sessions, and other football events. In this volunteer, remote role, you will observe players, record structured evaluations on the platform, and contribute to a consistent evidence trail of each player’s performance and potential. You will collaborate with other evaluators to ensure assessments are objective, comparable, and aligned with Scout Sport’s evaluation standards. The role also involves staying informed about local leagues and tournaments, building relationships with clubs and coaches, and providing feedback that supports fair and transparent talent identification. You will manage your own schedule while maintaining regular engagement with the platform and participating in occasional virtual training or calibration sessions.
