French Speaking Bookkeeper

The company:
A a well-established British manufacturer with international operations, including in France
Main duties:
You will be offering support with administrative and accounting operations to the sales teams in both the UK and France
The role:
- Performing general bookkeeping tasks, including daily banking transactions
- Recording and maintaining transaction logs
- Following up on overdue debtors and controlling credit on outstanding invoices
- Reviewing banking reconciliations
- Liaising with the external accounting services provider in France for VAT, tax, payroll and compliance matters
- Undertaking any additional ad-hoc tasks as required
- This role is likely to evolve as the market grows so strong opportunities to progress within this role for motivated candidates
The candidate:
- Fluent in both French and English
- Two years experience in a similar role as an Accounts Assistant, or an admin role involving accounting tasks
- Good Excel skills, as well as a previous experience of Sage and a CRM would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
The salary: up to £30,000 per annum
