North West | Hybrid | 5+ PQE
I’m currently working with a leading European manufacturer, looking to hire a German-speaking Commercial Lawyer into its North West-based legal team.
This is a genuinely high-impact role supporting UK and European operations.
The Opportunity
You’ll act as a key commercial advisor to the business, partnering with sales, procurement and operational teams across the UK and Germany.
Work will include:
* Drafting and negotiating complex supply, manufacturing and distribution agreements
* Leading negotiations with German-speaking customers and suppliers
* Advising on cross-border commercial risk and liability structures
* Supporting procurement, raw materials and framework agreements
* Advising on product compliance and regulatory considerations across Europe
* Assisting with disputes and commercial risk management
This is not a “back office” legal role, you’ll be embedded in the commercial strategy of the business.
About You
* UK-qualified solicitor (or equivalent)
* 6+ years’ PQE (guideline)
* Strong commercial contracts experience
* Background in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or supply chain environments ideal
* Fluent German (written and spoken)
* Commercially pragmatic and comfortable operating with senior stakeholders
In-house experience is welcome but not essential.
