Responsive Maintenance Surveyor - East Huntingdon with travel £45,390 per annum plus £3,879 car allowance Full time – Permanent (35 hours) About You Are you ready to play a key role in our responsive maintenance team? Are you passionate about delivering excellent services to customers and using your technical knowledge to assess a wide range of repairs? We need someone who is friendly, professional and an excellent communicator to work in our busy and vibrant team. We’re focused on improving our repairs service and you’ll play a big part in making that happen. You’ll have experience in the housing sector, with technical knowledge of repairs and maintenance, and be ready to handle a wide and varied range of tasks and situations carrying out inspections and surveys, overseeing the work of our contractors ensuring contract obligations are met, dealing with major works, inspecting empty homes and overseeing damp and mould cases – no two days will be the same. You’ll turn negatives into positives by listening to customer feedback and you’ll take the initiative and lead on collaboration with colleagues across the business to ensure our targets are met and high levels of customer satisfaction with the repairs service are achieved. This is a permanent role and is part of our ongoing commitment to improving our repairs service and delivering our Corporate Plan. The role would suit someone based in or around Huntingdon, working with our Muir team and our partner-contractors. The role is hybrid and homeworking is encouraged, but there is extensive travel involved, with 3-4 days each week spent visiting our customers in their homes. The majority of our customers live in the Cambridgeshire area, with some smaller communities in Reading, Hereford, Grantham and Wales.
