Are you a compassionate and reliable driver looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? Our esteemed Client in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Minibus Driver to join their team!
Location: Edinburgh East
Rate of Pay: £13.48 per hour
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 08.00-17.00 with 60min break
Duration: TemporaryOngoing
Immediate Start
This position will be subjected to a PVG check. New applicants to the scheme would be £59 and updates £18
Full training, PPE and overtime available
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport students to and from school, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
* Assist students in boarding and exiting the minibus, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
* Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle, conducting regular checks and reporting any issues promptly.
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, fostering a friendly and supportive environment.
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and school transport policies.
Requirements
* Valid UK driving license with D1 category (essential).
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with children or individuals with additional needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A caring and patient attitude with a strong commitment to student welfare.
