Job Advert: Part-Time SEMH Support Assistants (Strong Transferable Skills considered)
Position: Part-Time SEMH Teaching Assistant
Hours: Part-Time (long-term)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Support Assistants to join our team on a part-time and full-time long-term basis. The ideal candidates will have strong transferable skills, a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs, and the ability to make a positive impact in the classroom. A valid driver's license is required for this role due to the location.
Provide tailored support for students with SEMH needs, both academically and emotionally.
Support students in managing their behavior, helping to reduce anxiety and increase engagement.
Encourage and support students to develop effective coping strategies and communication skills.
Strong transferable skills in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable, but not essential.
A valid driver's license and access to a car.
