Permanent Full-time

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office (Sale, Manchester)

Reports to: Sales Manager - Existing Business

Salary: Depending on experience + uncapped commission (£5,000 OTE)

As we continue to grow, a door of opportunity has opened for a highly motivated Account Manager to take charge of several mid-high-level accounts and drive TQUK’s success to new heights.

As a member of our successful business development team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth of our organisation by managing existing partnerships and exceeding growth targets within your designated portfolio.
This is a cross-functional role that values collaborative work with internal teams to ensure the entire customer experience is exceptional and, as a result, nurtures long-lasting partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in business development and a passion for driving results. You will be comfortable in conversing with customers and partners from a range of backgrounds, and sectors, who have different interests and motivations, predominantly at the C-Level and Executive levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proactively use data to identify growth opportunities within your designated portfolio
2. Proactively secure customer meetings to pursue and win growth opportunities within your portfolio
3. Develop and implement sales initiatives, strategies and processes to meet and exceed company growth objectives, quarterly team and personal KPIs
4. Identify and act upon customer requirements, maximising opportunities for further growth through TQUK's range of products and services
5. Expertly utilise a consultative sales approach to engage with customers, understand their requirements, and propose tailored solutions
6. Accurately forecast and track key account predictions
7. Proficiently negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring profitable pricing and terms
8. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and results
9. Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of all activities within the CRM system
10. Capture and report intelligence that may inform our future Sales and Marketing campaigns

Other Responsibilities

11. Developing and maintaining an understanding of TQUK internal processes, especially those related to the customer journey.
12. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of TQUK products and services, competitors and the awarding and EPA industry overall
13. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements associated with own area of work across Awarding and End-Point Assessment
14. Undertaking other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business as required
15. Championing the organisation's values at all times to model behaviours to wider team staff.

Key Requirements

16. Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the education or training provider industry
17. Experience in working under pressure and comfortable working against defined targets and KPIs set
18. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
19. Strong negotiation and contract management skills
20. Accurate pipeline management
21. Be organised and able to prioritise your workload
22. Have an analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret market data and trends to define strategic direction and growth within your area
23. Have a proven track record, with demonstrable successes of account management
