We are seeking to appoint a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client, a manufacturing leader within a very niche industry.
This role involves combining mechanical expertise with electrical knowledge to develop innovative solutions. Responsibilities include leading preventative and planned maintenance of the site's manufacturing machinery.
Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and test mechanical and electrical systems.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
4. Perform planned and preventative maintenance.
5. Manage new machinery installations and machinery moves.
6. Conduct breakdown repairs.
7. Sourcing parts for rebuilds.
8. Create work instructions.
Qualifications
* Qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and electrical systems.
* Experience with CAD software and project management tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours
Full time, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
