Graduate Environmental Consultant – Scotland

We're looking for enthusiastic graduates to join our expanding Scottish team in an exciting new role where you'll be supported in developing your skills, knowledge, and experience across a variety of environmental projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to build valuable working relationships with colleagues across the wider RSK Group, especially those in departments with close links to RSK Environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced consultants, supporting the delivery of key energy and infrastructure projects by contributing to client communications, assisting with project finances, and helping to produce high-quality deliverables on time and to specification.
Main responsibilities:
* Support client communication and coordination, helping to manage requests and ensuring a responsive and professional service.
* Assist with tender submissions, working to internal deadlines and in line with the RSK SHEQ Management System.
* Support colleagues in meeting tight client deadlines and expectations.
* Represent RSK at external events and early careers networking opportunities.
* Take part in regular team and business meetings.
* Explore professional membership opportunities and begin your journey towards chartership or other relevant accreditations.
As a graduate consultant, you’ll maintain a CPD record, update your CV with new skills and achievements, and work with your line manager to set goals and monitor your professional growth.
Person Specification & Experience:
We’re looking for graduates who are enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to learn. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and show confidence in communicating with peers and clients alike.
Key skills and qualifications:
* A degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
* Strong written skills, with the ability to contribute to clear, concise, and professional reports and documents.
* A basic understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment and UK planning legislation.
* Confident in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
* A keen interest in project management, with a willingness to support senior colleagues in delivering successful projects.
* Strong listening and collaboration skills, with a focus on learning and continuous improvement.
* A UK driving license and a clean driving record is desirable.
