RC Fornax, a veteran-owned engineering consultancy operating within the aerospace and defence sectors, is looking for a Electronic Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary aerospace engineering team. You’ll be part of a group of mechanical, electronic, and systems engineers delivering advanced pressure sensing technology into aerospace applications.
What you’ll be doing:
* Electronic integration of pressure sensing components for aerospace systems.
* Driving design changes in line with business procedures.
* Providing hands-on support to manufacturing and solving production challenges.
* Producing high-standard documentation to demonstrate compliance and explain designs.
* Reviewing and interpreting design specifications and requirements.
* Supporting internal teams (sales, marketing) and external customers.
* Developing and refining internal processes.
* Analysing complex data to meet project and customer requirements.
* Generating documentation to support design objectives.
* Verifying and validating customer requirements through analysis, testing, and demonstration.
What we’re looking for:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering.
* Experience with schematic design, capture, and circuit simulation tools.
* Knowledge of EMC design and testing.
* Familiarity with IPC standards for PCB design/fabrication.
* Understanding of aerospace/defence standards (DO-160, Mil Std 810, AS9100, AS9145).
* Experience with MRP systems (SAP preferred).
* Proven skills in low-power analogue, digital comms, and mixed-signal circuit analysis.
* Strong communication skills with sharp attention to detail.
* Comfortable in high-quality, deadline-driven environments.
