The ideal candidate will be working fully on-site, providing quick response for any breakdowns or repairs to heavy duty machinery and sawmilling equipment.
You will be diagnosing and problem solving hydraulic equipment and pipework to ensure the upkeep of proficiency in the sawmilling process.
This role would suit a mechanical fitter with experience maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, eager to progress their career and boost their salary package within one of the leading softwood suppliers in the UK.
The role: Maintaining heavy machinery and sawmilling equipment Responding to breakdowns and repairs for equipment swiftly, to ensure efficient running of the mill Be able to work in part of a team and independently Follow PPM schedules Diagnose and fault find any hydraulic issues with equipment Manage and maintain pipework throughout the mill Adhere to a high level of health and safety when performing day to day tasks.
