Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Assistant Solicitor who can be newly qualified but ideally 3-5+ years qualified. An opportunity has arisen for a public law solicitor position in our small but very busy office. Working from home with excellent support staff, we undertake all aspects of public law representing children and parents. A particular advantage would be children panel accreditation, although not essential, and preferably with a current following or case load. We work generally in London (ELFC and CFC) and Essex (Chelmsford) occasionally Barnet and Croydon. This does not have to be limited should the right candidate have other locations they work in. Candidate must be comfortable with conducting own advocacy and running a case load on a full time basis. PSQ ideally 3-5+ with competitive salary, pension scheme and bonus opportunities.
Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge of public law or orovate law childre and ability to provide expert legal advice
* Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and independently manage a caseload
* Qualified solicitor with relevant legal certifications
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience in a client-focused legal environment is a plus
