We are seeking Positive Behaviour Support Workers to join our team in supporting a young man with Autism and Down syndrome to live a fulfilling, indepedant life in his own home and community. As part of a dedicated team, you will promote indepedance, dignity and choice by teaching new skills, supporting daily living tasks, and using Positive BEhaviour Support (PBS) strategies to enable him to achieve his goals. This role requires patience, empathy, resilience, and a commitment to person centred values. ESSENTIAL Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a 24/7 rota basis. Motivation to support people with Autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with behaviours that challenge. Willingness to undertake all mandatory and specialist training, including PROACT-SCIPR and PBS Good communication skills (verbal, non verbal and written) Ability to travel for work purposes (Full UK driving licence essential) Commitment to confidentiality, Safeguarding, equality and anti discriminatory practice.
