Apprenticeship Skills Tutor – Engineering Mechatronics
Location: Rotherham College, Rotherham (with offsite travel)
Salary: up to £38,487 per annum including MFS + benefits (dependent on qualifications and experience)

If you have experience of planning, delivering and assessing apprenticeships in the Engineering (Mechatronics) Apprenticeship Standard, this is the role for you.

The rewarding position involves coaching, assessing & supporting apprentices on Engineering courses. The role uses e-portfolios, on-site performance reviews, and assessments to ensure the next generation of mechatronics technicians are the best. You will maintain accurate records of student progress via tracking systems and e-portfolios.
You will need to be able to build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations.
Key Responsibilities
As a confident assessor/tutor engaging a wide variety of learners, you will bring the subject matter to life in a creative and engaging way. You will also:
* Plan, deliver, and assess the Engineering (Mechatronics) Apprenticeship Standard.
* Use e-portfolios and performance reviews to monitor apprentice progress.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress using tracking systems.
* Build good relationships with apprentices, employers, and stakeholders.
* Manage a caseload of apprentices effectively.
Qualifications
* Experience in Mechatronics within industry.
* Relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher.
* A1/V1 Assessors Award (or equivalent).
* Teaching qualification.
* IQA Award desirable.
