Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest housing associations, is seeking a Treasury Accountant to play a vital role in safeguarding NHG’s financial resilience.This position focuses on managing daily cash balances, forecasting operational cash needs, and ensuring accurate recording of treasury activities.As a Treasury Accountant, you’ll support strategic debt portfolio management while embedding robust treasury controls aligned with our financial policies.Your expertise will deliver an efficient treasury function critical to funding affordable homes and thriving communities.
How you’ll do it
* Deliver outstanding operational treasury services to internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain and update the Treasury Management System to manage the group’s debt portfolio
* Ensure covenant compliance and timely reporting to lenders
* Roll over floating-rate loans cost-effectively and process interest payments promptly
* Manage bank account mandates and oversee KYC requirements
* Forecast cash flow to meet liabilities and invest surplus funds per treasury policy
The ideal candidate

* Membership of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) or CCAB accounting qualification
* Proven experience using a Treasury Management System for reporting and derivatives accounting
* Experience of managing bank accounts including electronic interfaces, updating of bank mandates, opening new accounts and organising KYC requirements
* Experience of month end general ledger reconciliations and journal postings
* Expertise in cash flow forecasting, debt portfolio management, and bank account administration
* Track record of stakeholder engagement in social housing or complex organisations
