Community Support Worker
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
All team members must work flexibly on occasions to meet the needs ofthe Charity and the people we support.
Provide specialist support services to women and men who are accessing our services in the community.
Deliver specialist support services to women, men and children who are accessing our services.
Work with women, men and children in an empowering and engaging manner.
Support women to undertake and engage in initial and on-going needs assessments, risk assessments, safety plans and support plans.
To case hold and provide ongoing support as needed.
Support women, men and children to have a voice within the organisation and the sector, for example, encouraging them to complete surveys, give feedback and attend associated events.
Support, signpost, provide advocacy and refer women and children to the services they wish to engage with for example social services, the police, parenting, health, legal, DWP, housing, homelessness, recreational, educational and cultural services and also CWA's other internal services.
Create and submit referrals and reports to MARAC, core group, child protection conference and other similar meetings when directed, ensuring completion of all tasks allocated to CWA.
Assist in producing qualitative and quantitative data, including for example, the creation of case studies.
