Our client is a leading telecommunications company specialising in operating in off-shore jurisdictions. On their behalf we are looking to recruit an in-house lawyer to be part of a global team focusing on regulatory matters in multiple jurisdictions. This role can be based in Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man. Candidates should be qualified lawyers with at least 6 PQE experience, preferably in a commercial environment. More specifically the telecoms, technology, fintech or the financial sector. Experience in data protection, dispute resolution, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts will be required. Experience of working in a regulated environment and having good relationships with jurisdictional regulators will be highly desirable. Applicants should be commercially focused and be able to work pro-actively alone or work with colleagues to progress projects with business acumen and legal input. The role is open to applicants either already based in the locations or exceptional candidates may be considered from elsewhere with knowledge of the offshore regulatory environment in respect to the telecoms sector.
