About the Role
As a Commercial and Intellectual Property Lawyer, Manager, you'll be part of the IP & Commercial team within our expansive Legal network. This team handles a variety of traditional and non-traditional (mostly non-contentious) legal projects. Our work spans advising start-ups to multinational companies across diverse sectors, leveraging PwC’s extensive client base. You'll have the opportunity to build deep client relationships and engage in technically challenging and varied legal engagements.

What Your Days Will Look Like:
1. Engage in a wide range of IP work including providing general advice, conducting IP due diligence, and drafting contracts, including licenses and franchises.
2. Collaborate with non-legal IP experts at PwC to advise on IP structuring and commercialization.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
4. Assist in large global group reorganizations.
5. Evaluate client contracts against best practices.
6. Lead projects and work on larger projects with more senior team members.
7. Act as the point of contact for clients and support work-winning activities.
8. Build your own client base as the practice grows.

This role is for you if:
1. You have 4 to 6 years’ PQE (we will consider candidates with 2-4 years’ PQE on a different grade).
2. You are qualified in England & Wales (or other UK jurisdictions) or have substantial experience practicing there.
3. You have experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, providing commercial law advice, and advising on non-contentious IP.
4. You are interested in technically challenging projects.
5. You have an intellectual curiosity about how businesses work and what drives their value.
6. You are willing to engage in business development activities to identify and research opportunities.
7. You are keen to build networks and develop internal relationships to enhance your PwC brand.
