Role Overview
As a Senior Pricing Analyst (Risk), you will oversee the risk management framework for Saga's street pricing, supporting the insurance strategy, customer outcomes, and contributing to Saga Services' overall P&L. We seek an experienced pricing professional with a proven track record in developing innovative solutions to enhance pricing capabilities, especially within personal lines insurance such as Motor, Home, Travel, or Private Medical.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop risk control effectiveness testing, identifying control weaknesses and implementing improvements.
* Manage SSL Pricing Incidents, conducting root cause analysis and incident management.
* Generate risk management reports, including regulatory MI, control effectiveness, and incident updates.
* Maintain and review the SSL Pricing risk register in collaboration with senior leadership.
* Analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and regulatory or customer changes.
* Support pricing strategies for new business initiatives, including our partnership with Ageas.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in personal lines insurance, particularly Motor, Home, Travel, or Private Medical.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements and pricing methodologies.
* Strong numerical, statistical, and data analysis skills.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.
* Knowledge of modeling software (Radar, Emblem) and programming languages (SQL, R, Python) is advantageous.
