Overview
Unity Education Trust are recruiting for an Admin Officer to join the team at our UET Compass Belton to start immediately. The UET Compass Academy provides a therapeutic education offer to children and young people and their families. Compass Schools are commissioned by Norfolk County Council Children's Services and Local NHS Clinical Commissioners and delivered in partnership by the Unity Education Trust and Norfolk and Suffolk Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Managing administrative and clerical functions to a high standard, ensuring consistency with the other Compass bases
* Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure the provision of services to the school and the maintenance of a safe working environment for all
* Support the School Support Manager's team with periodic tasks for the Compass Bases
Qualifications and Skills
* Has good numeracy and literacy skills
* Has previous experience of working in school administration
* Has experience of Arbor and school administrative procedures
* Is proficient in the use of ICT
* Is organised, efficient and hardworking
* Is able to work constructively as part of a team
* Is reliable and trustworthy
* Is flexible, adaptable and able to work calmly under pressure

Confidentiality is an important part of the role with particular regard to maintaining data involved with data protection. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
This post will come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
