Offer description

Write a short description of your company, a boilerplate of the business, service or product that you offer. Include your business idea and the target audience. This text is primarily supposed to be descriptive, not selling.

A prestigious co-educational independent school in Warwickshire is seeking a dynamic and creative Teacher of Drama to join its thriving Performing Arts faculty from January 2026.

The school is renowned for academic excellence, exceptional pastoral care and a forward-thinking, holistic approach to education. Creativity, self-expression and confidence-building are central to its ethos, and Drama plays a pivotal role in school life — from classroom study to major productions and national competitions.

The Role
You’ll teach Drama across KS3–KS5, preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Lessons are lively, practical and intellectually engaging, encouraging students to develop performance skills, critical appreciation and self-confidence. You’ll also have the opportunity to direct and support school productions, house plays and theatre trips.

Facilities
The Performing Arts department enjoys excellent facilities, including a purpose-built theatre with professional lighting and sound, rehearsal studios and a costume and props workshop. Students benefit from visiting practitioners, links with local theatres and a packed calendar of productions and festivals.

About You

* QTS or equivalent qualification in Drama or Performing Arts.
* Passion for performance, theatre-making and creative expression.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students across all ability levels.
* Willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities and productions.

What’s on Offer

* Competitive independent-school salary and benefits package.
* Small class sizes and highly motivated, respectful pupils.
* Excellent CPD and leadership opportunities.
* Free lunches, parking and access to outstanding facilities.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Drama Teacher who thrives in an environment that values creativity, ambition and the transformative power of performance.
