We are partnered with a Life Science consulting company searching for a consulting specialist to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical clients and internal SMEs for Clinical and Quality to deliver technical projects on time effectively.
The ideal profile will come from a consulting environment within Life Science and be able to deliver and understand the technicalities required on client projects.
Overview
A senior leadership role responsible for shaping the strategic direction, commercial performance, and market positioning of a consulting business unit. The position combines hands‑on consulting delivery with team leadership, client engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the consulting business unit
* Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
* Lead and develop consulting teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying business needs and delivering tailored solutions
* Analyse client processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement practical recommendations
* Oversee project delivery, timelines, and budgets
* Build and maintain strong client relationships and stakeholder engagement
* Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Business Development, Operations) to identify new opportunities
* Support the development of new services and market offerings
* Establish KPIs and performance metrics to drive success
* Represent the business at industry events and conferences
* Identify and develop strategic partnerships, including digital transformation initiatives
Experience & Background
* ~10+ years’ experience within Life Sciences (or similar regulated environment)
* Strong background in consulting, business development, or technical delivery
* Experience in areas such as pharmacovigilance, clinical trials, or regulated environments preferred
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Degree or equivalent qualification

* Strong commercial and strategic mindset
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions
