Job Description
3. Financial Strategy & Planning - Develop and implement financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth.
4. Financial Reporting & Compliance - Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Cost Control & Profitability Analysis - Monitor expenses, analyse cost structures, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
6. Risk Management & Internal Controls - Establish and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
7. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management - Oversee cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure financial stability.
8. Business Partnering - Collaborate with senior management and operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
9. Audit & Tax Compliance - Coordinate with external auditors, manage tax filings, and ensure adherence to financial policies.
10. Team Leadership & Development - Manage and mentor finance teams, fostering professional growth and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
11. Qualified or QBE accountant
12. Manufacturing or construction experience
13. Strong systems knowledge, ideally Sage
14. Ambition to grow and develop into an FD role
15. Team management & leadership experience
What's on Offer
16. Salary circa £60,000-£80,000 dependent on experience
17. Flexible start & finish times
18. Ideally this will be 100% office based
