Support Worker - Secure Unit
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour
We are urgently seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our team at a secure unit in Hailsham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people facing emotional and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and support in a secure setting
* Implement behaviour management strategies and maintain a safe environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver individualised care plans
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met
Requirements
* Experience supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
* Current Restraint Training Certificate (mandatory)
* Ability to work a minimum of 3 long days per week
* Strong communication, resilience, and teamworking skills
