Softcat is embarking on a multi-year Sales system transformation programme, and we are currently in the system and partner selection stage.
Softcat is embarking on a multi-year Sales system replacement programme using on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), PROS smart CPQ and Copilot. The target solution will integrate to Softcat's other key cloud business systems and on premise bespoke IT tools. We require a Delivery Lead to oversee and manage the changes needed to these integrated systems/tools as a result of D365/PROS implementation
The Delivery Lead will be a key member of the programme leadership team alongside the Softcat and partner delivery leads in charge of the D365/PROS scope. They will work closely with various stakeholders, including development teams and senior management, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objective
As Technical Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for:
Lead and manage multiple functional & technical workstreams/developments simultaneously, ensuring alignment with the overall programme strategy, plan and aligned to company goals and strategies. Specifically this role will manage team
* Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies all congruent with the overall programme
* Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, functional consultants and SMEs, to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
* Be the key expert and decision maker on delivery approach by efficient alignment of the programme delivery goals with Softcat's key technical and functional leads
* Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders effectively, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
We'd love you to have
* Experience of best practice ways of working on transformation programmes, ideally having had overall responsibility for implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE with multiple impacted business systems (ERP, HCM, ITSM etc)
* The experience and gravitas to command the respect of and leadership to a team of diverse skillsets and responsibilities (including part-time roles) ensuring that each deliver on their commitments
* Experience of working client-side and holding large systems integrators to account
* Experience in managing integration projects. Specific experience with Boomi and Azure Service Bus and/or other Azure based integration tools would be favourable
* Experience in managing data migration projects
* Experience of End-to-End CRM programme
